Gentle yoga sessions are designed to meet people where they are in their movement and fitness journey. These gentle sessions are Great tools to increase balance, flexibility, range of motion and decrease joint pain. Each Gentle Yoga session is designed for all levels and a wide array of accessibility.
In this gentle yoga we'll be focusing on joint freeing, energy breathing, and vinayasa flow
Modifications are always offered and encouraged.
Gentle classes are taught with a compassionate and healing style of yoga suitable for beginners, seniors and people with health issues. All classes start with a joint freeing series to increase circulation and range of motion in all of the major joints of the body. This alone can often decrease joint pain. Standing poses and gentle flows are then introduced with modifications offered and encouraged. Balancing poses increase strength, build bone density and confidence. All classes end with a guided deep relaxation to absorb and integrate all of the energy you have created.
